COVID-19
During the Coronavirus pandemic, all devices will be wiped down and sanitised with high strength Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) before and after repair as a precaution (for your safety and ours). Gloves will be worn throughout any work being carried out and all pickup/return deliveries will be contact-free from the doorstep at a pre-arranged time. We will monitor and follow Government and WHO advice and best practice at all times.
All repairs in the workshop are carried out in a secure, clean, ESD environment. Each and every PC or laptop that hits the bench receives a complimentary external clean with specialist anti-static cleaning products. The very vast majority also get a free internal strip and service – with all fans and cowling cleaned, accumulated dust and detritus safely removed and fresh high quality thermal paste applied to any CPU or chipset requiring it.
The types of repair undertaken on the bench range from broken hinge and screen replacement on laptops and MacBooks, new casings and keyboards when cracked or damaged, replacement hard disks or upgrades to SSD, faulty sound, graphics or wifi cards, new DC jacks and batteries. Software and operating system issues across a wide range of platforms are all within our remit. Whether that’s your Windows 10 laptop being soooo slow or an issue with macOS Catalina on your MacBook. We can fix all your computer problems, quickly and affordably.
The workshop is stocked with industry standard equipment along with a large selection of spares and parts for our most frequent repairs. If we don’t have something in stock, it can usually be ordered for next day delivery using our network of trusted suppliers and trade contacts. Where possible, original OEM parts will be used but when this is not achievable, we will use only the finest pattern parts that have been tried and tested.
We can custom-build you a gaming rig or standard ‘business’ PC. Or, if you’ve already bought the parts yourself and given it a go but stumbled, we can help you build and learn. Or even easier – you buy the kit, we put it together!

On rare occasions and only when necessary, some advanced work is contracted out to specialists in their field. You will always be made aware of this and rest-assured, we only use trusted and reliable third-parties. If something is beyond our ability or we lack the expertise, we have no shame in admitting this but crucially, we can still get your issue resolved through our network of trade partners.
